Veterans Day is observed every year on November 11 to honor American veterans a military personnel for their service. For those who have served our country during war and peacetime, a number of chain restaurants are offering special days for free food and discounted meals on November 11. Some restaurants offer these deals all year round as a token of appreciation for those who serve.
These are the places offering free and cheap food for veterans with proof of service through a valid military ID. Discounts are just one small way businesses are honoring those who make the ultimate sacrifice.
Hurricane Grill & Wings
All veterans and active duty military can get a complimentary entree from a preprinted menu that features 10 boneless wings, Yuengling beer battered fish & chips, a Steakburger, chicken caesar salad, buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich, and chicken BLT Tacos. Note this deal is for Dine-in orders only with a valid ID.
In recognition of Veteran’s Day, Buffalo’s Cafe will offer all veterans and active duty military a complimentary entree from the menu for dine-in orders with a military ID or uniform.
IHOP continues to celebrate and honor veterans on Veteran’s Day by offering free Red, White & Blueberry Pancakes or a Pancake Combo from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for dine-in service only with proof of service. Dave’s is offering a free Georgia Chopped Pork Sandwich with a side for all active, inactive, and retired military personnel all day on Veterans Day. This will be a system-wide promotion for all Famous Dave’s restaurants and is available on dine-in, to-go, and online orders.
White Castle will be offering a free meal to all veterans and active duty members of the military on Veterans Day.
Barnes & Noble
In honor of Veterans Day, Barnes & Noble Cafés across the country will be offering a free cup of tall, freshly-brewed hot or iced coffee or tea to all U.S. Military and Veterans.
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse
In collaboration with Dr Pepper, BJ’s Brewhouse is extending a complimentary meal from a select menu and a Dr Pepper beverage to all current and former military personnel with military ID.

This year for Veterans Day, Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant is honoring heroes by teaming up with Honor Flight, an organization which transports America’s veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to honoring those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
