Three insanely refreshing Rosé cocktails to sip all summer long
The warm weather means it’s officially rosé wine season, and there are several ways to enjoy it; be it crisp and cool, straight from a chiller, or in a cocktail.
Eco, ocean-saving wine brand The Hidden Sea, has shared three gorgeous cocktails that incorporate rosé wine; Rosé Sangria, Frosé and Spicy Rosé Margarita – perfect to enjoy yourself or with family and friends.
Rosé Sangria Pitcher – serves four
The Hidden Sea said: “There are so many variations of rosé sangria, so experiment to find your winner.
“Our best recipe combines The Hidden Sea Rosé with a slug of Grand Marnier, rose lemonade (or a little sparkling water and fresh strawberries), mint, and lime wedges. It’s set to be your new fave this summer…”
- Pour a bottle (75cl) of rose wine into a large jug – we love The Hidden Sea Rosé
- Add 50ml of Triple Sec or Grand Marnier
- Top with 300ml of pink lemonade
- Add fruits of choice – we used oranges and strawberries
- Add ice until the jug is full
- Add a squeeze of fresh lime
- Stir, garnish with fresh mint
- Tip – keep the jug in the fridge so it’s served chilled
Spicy Rosé Margarita – serves one
The Hidden Sea said: “Best served in a chilled Margarita glass, we recommend the rim to be dipped in Himalayan pink sea salt and chilli flakes, and garnish with red chilli…listo!”
- Dip the rim of your glass in a mix of chilli flakes and pink sea salt
- Add a scoop of ice to a cocktail shaker
- Add 50ml of tequila
- Add 50ml of sugar syrup/simple syrup
- Add the juice of half a lime
- Shake, strain into a glass
- Top up with rosé wine – we love The Hidden Sea Rosé
- Garnish with slices of fresh red chilli

Frosé – serves two
The Hidden Sea said: “Our Rosé works so well as Frosé due to its zingy strawberries-and-cream palate. It can either be created with loads of crushed ice and whizz up or pour the rosé into ice cube trays and freeze them overnight, then use them for a stronger slushie serve. Garnish with more fresh strawberries and enjoy. Yum!”
- Chop up a 400g punnet of strawberries
- Add to a large bowl
- Add three tbsp of caster sugar
- Refrigerate for an hour (or longer)
- Add to your bullet blender with a large scoop of ice and blitz
- Add 250ml (or a large glass) of rosé wine – we love The Hidden Sea Rosé
- Blitz again and serve, garnished with more fresh strawberries
The Hidden Sea Rosé is available to purchase at Asda for £8.00.
