Morrisons launches Christmas food range for pre-order – key dates in full

Christmas may be months away still but those looking to prepare for the festive season can do so at their local supermarket.

Morrisons has followed Marks and Spencer in launching their 2023 food range which includes bespoke dishes only available to those who book a pre-order slot online.

Shoppers can find everything from meat and fish wellingtons, pigs in blankets and yule logs in the line of seasonal treats, as well as a brand new roast in the bag-style turkey.

More than 100 Christmas dishes are now available through the retailer’s “Food to Order” service having launched today.

Shoppers will have to book a slot as soon as possible, however, as the pre-order availability won’t last for long.

Morrisons revealed that customers have until Sunday, December 10 to bag a wide selection of delicious dishes that are perfect for the big day.

Collections will be open from Thursday, December 21 to Sunday, December 24.

Familiar favourites like The Best Goose Fat Roast Potatoes (£2.99, serves four), The Best Pigs in Blankets (£3.25, serves five), and The Best British Turkey Crown with Apricot and Brandy Stuffing (£19.99/kg, serves five to six) are included in the 2023 collection.

These have been joined by a number of delectable new Morrisons “The Best” products.

New items in the 2023 Christmas range include:

  • The Best British Beef Fillet Wellington (£40, serves four to six people)

  • The Best Sticky Pork, Brandy and Fruit Stuffing Parcel (£4, serves two to three people)

  • The Best Slow Cooked Beef Shin with Truffle and Marrowbone Gravy (£25.00, serves four)

  • The Best Salmon Wellington (£17.00,  serves four)

  • Morrisons Roast in the Bag Turkey Crown with Pork, Sage, Onion and Bacon (£23.98, serves five to six people)

Loyal customers have long anticipated the arrival of the range, with some people reaching out to the supermarket as early as September to share their excitement.
