Lidl and Morrisons shoppers at risk as urgent food recall for chocolates issued
On Friday, December 1, Mars Wrigley UK warned some of its Reveal chocolates were “unsafe to eat”.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) stated the following products were recalled:
- Revels More to Share, 205g
- Revels Pouch, 112g
- Revels Treat Bag, 71g
Batch codes affected:
- 344G2SLO00
- 345B1SLO00
- 344E1SLO00
- 344E2SLO00
- 344F1SLO00
- 344F2SLO00
- 345D2SLO00
- 345E1SLO00
- 345E2SLO00
- 345F2SLO00
- 345G1SLO00
- 346C1SLO00
- 344G2SLO00.
The FSA said: “These products may contain small pieces of rubber which makes them unsafe to eat.”
Mars Wrigley UK instructed consumers of any of the listed above products to contact the Consumer Care team to arrange a return and reimbursement.

Mars Wrigley said: “We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
Lidl shoppers have also been asked to return Fin Carré White Chocolate as it may contain pieces of plastic. The FSA cautioned: “The possible presence of plastic makes this product unsafe to eat.”

Lidl advised its customers: “If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.”

Morrisons recalled Morrisons Market Street 18 Caramel Crispy Bites due to an undeclared allergy.
The chocolates may contain egg, which is not mentioned on the label. As such, the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.
The retailer is asking its customers to return the product for a full refund.
