Strawberries are expensive and seasonal, so storing them correctly is important to reduce food waste.<\/p>\n
British strawberries are delicious and sweet but need to be consumed within a couple of days of buying them as they are one of many berries that start to deteriorate quickly, going mushy and mouldy.<\/p>\n
Taking to the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips and Tricks Facebook page, one woman claimed that the key to storing strawberries the best is by keeping them in a glass jar.<\/p>\n
