Going out for breakfast is a lovely weekend luxury but making it at home can be fun for the whole family.<\/p>\n
This recipe is a great one for when the kids or grandkids are round, as children can get involved in making this super simple concoction.<\/p>\n
BBC Good Food’s easy pancake recipe takes just 10 minutes to prepare and 20 minutes to cook plus optional standing, so you won’t be in the kitchen all day.<\/p>\n
The recipe also contains just four main ingredients, so budding chefs won’t be forced to traipse round the supermarket for hours finding them.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n Ingredients <\/strong><\/p>\n 100g plain flour<\/p>\n Two large eggs<\/p>\n 300ml milk<\/p>\n One tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil, plus a little extra for frying<\/p>\n Lemon wedges to serve (optional)<\/p>\n Caster sugar to serve (optional)<\/p>\n Method<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Place the plain flour, eggs, milk, one tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil and a pinch of salt in a bowl or large jug. Whisk the ingredients together into a smooth batter.<\/p>\n 2. If you have time, set this aside for 30 mins to rest. If you’re in a rush you can start cooking straight away.<\/p>\n 3. Place a medium frying pan or cr\u00eape pan over a medium heat and carefully wipe it with oiled kitchen paper.<\/p>\n 4. When it’s hot, cook the pancakes for just one minute on each side until golden. Keep each finished pancake warm in a low oven as you make the rest.<\/p>\n 5. Experiment with toppings. BBC Good Food recommends serving these pancakes with lemon wedges and caster sugar, or your favourite filling.
