More info<\/p>\n Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/strong>Four tbsp self-raising flour<\/p>\n Four tbsp caster sugar<\/p>\n Two tbsp cocoa powder<\/p>\n One medium egg<\/p>\n Three tbsp milk<\/p>\n Three tbsp vegetable oil or sunflower oil<\/p>\n A few drops of vanilla essence or other essence (orange or peppermint work well)<\/p>\n Two tbsp chocolate chips, nuts, or raisins etc (optional)<\/p>\n Method<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Add the self-raising flour, caster sugar and cocoa powder to the largest mug you have, before mixing the ingredients together. It\u2019s important that it\u2019s a big mug as this will prevent it from overflowing in the microwave.<\/p>\n 2. Add one medium egg and mix in as much as you can. It\u2019s fine if there\u2019s still dry mix left at this stage.<\/p>\n 3. Add the milk, vegetable or sunflower oil and vanilla essence and mix until smooth. Add in chocolate chips, nuts, or raisins if you fancy it, and mix again.<\/p>\n 4. Pop the mug in the middle of the microwave and cook on High for one and a half to two minutes, or until it has stopped rising and is firm to the touch.<\/p>\n
