Recent food recall alerts by the UK Food Standards Agency (FSA) include a range of products sold in Sainsbury’s, Lidl, and Asda.<\/p>\n
The supermarkets have withdrawn selected food items from their shelves and urged customers not to eat them if already purchased them.<\/p>\n
It comes following concerns that the items pose a “serious health risk” to consumers, ranging from the presence of harmful bacteria, or an allergen that has not been declared on the label.<\/p>\n
The FSA regularly issues urgent alerts to supermarkets and customers who sell or purchase affected items.<\/p>\n
Here’s the full list of products recently recalled by UK supermarkets.<\/p>\n

Asda has recalled batches of OMV! Mac \u2018N\u2019 No Cheese after it was discovered that the product may contain milk, which is not listed on the label. The used by date of affected items had past but shoppers should check in case they have kept any in the freezer.<\/p>\n
According to the Food Standards Agency, the ready-meal is “a possible health risk” for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Sainsbury’s has recalled its own brand Mexican-Style Chilli Cheddar because of the possible presence of “harmful bacteria” –\u00a0 Salmonella.<\/p>\n An alert by the FSA explained that the product was recalled due to the “possible presence of salmonella”, which can trigger symptoms including fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.\u00a0<\/p>\n Customers should avoid eating the cheese and instead, return the product to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Other food recalls include items sold by Grape Tree, Booker Group Limited, and Buttermilk – all of which have been withdrawn frm shelves over allergy fears.<\/p>\n Buttermilk Fudge<\/strong><\/p>\n Buttermilk is recalling Buttermilk Speculoos Flavoured Fudge with Biscuit Chunks because it contains wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label. The FSA warned that fudge is a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease, allergies, or intolerances to wheat or gluten.<\/p>\n Grape Tree popcorn<\/strong><\/p>\n Grape Tree is recalling Grape Tree Toffee Popcorn because it contains undeclared milk.
