Vietnamese Style Fried Bittergourd with egg
Want something light, easy to make for your daily meal or some snack for those alcoholic drinker 🙂
- 1 bittergourd
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp Chopped Shallot
- 2 tsp Chopped Garlic
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
Wash bittergourd under cold water. Straight cut vertically into half, remove all the seeds and slice it like this.
Boil water, put all sliced bittergourd into the boiling water until the water boiling again, then turn off the fire. Strain it, put bittergourd into ice water with ice in 3 minutes. Then, drain off the water, make sure bittergourd not too wet.
Turn on the fire to medium. Put oil in the pan. When the oil is hot, throw chopped garlic and shallot. Once garlic and shallot little burnt, put bittergourd. Seasoning with salt and sugar. Stir until bittergourd not too hard, put eggs and stir well to let it mixed together.
Add oyster sauce, stir about 5 seconds and turn off the fire.
Put stir-fried bittergourd into the plate. Garnish with sliced chili and coriander. Hope you guys enjoy this food.
