Vegan Nikujaga
Ingredients
- Broth
- 3/4 Cup Dashi (200-250ml)
- 1/2 Tablespoon Sugar
- 3 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 2 Tablespoon Mirin
- 2 Tablespoon Sake
- Vegetables
- 2 Medium-Big Potatos
- 2 Carrots
- 1 Large Onion
- 5 cm Piece of Daikon Raddish
- Other of choice or konyaku, shirataki etc
Steps
Mix ingredients for the Broth in a Pot.
Cut Vegetables in Chunks and put in the Pot.
Bring everything to a boil and let it simmer with the lid on for about 10 minutes depending on the size of the veggies.
Alternatively you can use a drop lid.
Remove the lid and let simmer until most of the liquid gas evaporated.
Let cool down and stir carefully right before serving.
