Sweet as honey chicken


  1. 4 cloves garlic
  2. 1 lime
  3. 1 thumb of ginger
  4. 1 cup jasmine rice
  5. 4 chicken breast
  6. 10 tsp white wine vinegar
  7. Chicken stock concentrate
  8. 4 Tbsp honey
  9. 2 Tbsp soy sauce


  1. Bring 1 1/2 cups water to a boil with a pinch of salt.

  2. Mince garlic. Quarter lime. Peak & mince ginger.

  3. Once water boils add rice. Cover and lower heat to a gentle simmer. Cook 15 min.

  4. Season chicken with salt & pepper. Heat oil in a pan over med heat. Cook chicken. 4-5 min per side. Remove from pan and set aside.

  5. Heat oil in same pan. Heat over medium heat. Add garlic & ginger. Cook until softened and fragrant about a min. Add vinegar and let reduce until almost evaporated.

  6. Stir in concentrate, honey and soy sauce. Let simmer 2-3 min. Return chicken to pan to coat.

  7. Serve with lime wedge.
