Soy Sriracha Lime Dipping Sauce
Something to dip tonight’s simple fried chicken in. Would go great with roast chicken, potstickers, and egg rolls too, among other things.
My Fried Chicken recipe (only this time, I’m only using salt, pepper, and garlic powder in the chicken marinade and in the dusting flour):
- 2 Tablespoons sriracha
- 2-3 Tablespoons sugar
- 2 Tablespoons minced shallot
- zest of half a lime
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2-4 Tablespoons fresh lime juice (depending on how tart you like things)
Put all your ingredients in a bowl…
…including soy sauce and lime juice…
Stir until all sugar is dissolved, adjust seasoning if needed.
