Seared Garlic Salmon

This meal is a meal of love. My partner made this meal for me during our first Valentine’s day together and it captures my favorite fish to eat, salmon. This delectable meal is nourishing, warm, and tasty for any occasion.

The accompanying side makes this dish more nutritious , feel free to add your preferred side.Rice or quinoa makes this a filling meal.


  1. 5-8 oz piece of salmon
  2. Asparagus or other side – 1 serving
  3. 2 tbsp Butter –
  4. 1 clove garlic


  1. Prepare garlic butter mixture by mincing clove and mashing together with butter

  2. Heat skillet to medium high heat with a bit of butter

  3. Rub garlic butter all over salmon

  4. Place salmon skin side down on skillet, cook for 10 minutes on one side, flip to other side to cook for remaining ten minutes

  5. Prepare asparagus by chopping stems. Place in skillet during the last 7 minutes of salmon preparation
