Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

My daughter loves these. We always make them in the fall after carving a Halloween pumpkin! You can omit the butter if looking for a plainer or healthier option.


  1. 2 cups raw pumpkin seeds
  2. 4 tbsp melted salted butter
  3. To taste salt


  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

  2. Remove the seeds from your pumpkin and rinse off as much of the pumpkin meat as possible.

  3. Melt butter in a large bowl, add the seeds and coat them in the mixture before spreading them evenly on a greased baking sheet.

  4. Bake for about 30 minutes, stirring them around every now and again. (Note that the butter will make them a little brown.) Salt them to your liking and enjoy this great snack!!
