Moong pakoda


  1. 100 gms moong dal
  2. 7-8 Green chillies
  3. 4-5 inches Ginger
  4. Carrom seeds
  5. to taste Salt
  6. leaves Carrom
  7. Oil for frying


  1. Soak the moong dal for 2 to 3 hours

  2. Coarsely grind it with green chillies and Ginger

  3. Heat oil in a pan, pan should not be shallow

  4. Fry little pakodas on medium to high flame and serve hot with sauce, fried chillies and crispy carrom can add veggies like carrot, cabbage capsicum but because of lockdown didn’t get anything.

  5. Serve hot and consume when they are hot as if it will get cool becomes dry sometimes.tip_ if you want to keep them for long time just add two tspoons of gram flour to it.
