Khichri

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup Rice
  2. 1/4 cup Yellow moong daal
  3. 1.25 tsp Salt
  4. 1 tbsp Garlic chopped
  5. 2-3 Peppercorn
  6. 1/2 tsp Zeera
  7. 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  8. 2 cups Water
  9. 1 tbsp Oil

Steps

  1. Mix, wash the rice and daal together soak for 30 minutes then drain

  2. In a pot heat oil add garlic pepper corns and zeera saute a minute

  3. Add water and bring to a boil, add salt and turmeric powder

  4. Add rice and daal cook until water dries

  5. Put on dum for 10 mins and Serve
