I Tried Nearly Everything At LongHorn Steakhouse—These Are The Best Menu Items
I will not stop talking about these for at least another year. These cheddar stuffed mushrooms are filled with four cheese and garlic then topped with a parmesan crust that sends you into cheese heaven. If you don’t order these I will personally be mad at you.
Best Side: Steakhouse Mac & Cheese
This mac is the ideal balance of not-too-dry yet not-too-soupy. The cavatappi noodles can handle a ton of cheese, which is perfect considering this mac has four cheeses piled in there.
Honorable mention: sweet potato.
If November could be a side dish, it would be this gorgeous, nostalgic, comforting sweet potato.
Best Cocktail: Mango Margarita
If any of you grew up with POG (passion, orange, guava juice) this will remind you of that… plus tequila, of course. It’s tangy, tart, and strong—if you’re not into stronger flavors, the strawberry margarita is your best bet.
Best Steak: Bone-In Ribeye
The marbling is evenly distributed in LongHorn’s cut making each bit buttery and velvety. Depending on how you like your steak cooked, you could probably cut this with a fork.
Best Entree: Baby Back Ribs
They nailed it on the ribs: It’s smoky, sticky, and ever so slightly sweet. A lot of casual restaurants err on the side of sickening sweet, but I’m happy to report back that LongHorn seasons these bad boys beautifully.
Best Dessert: Chocolate Stampede
You’ve got fluffy chocolate, dense chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate! This is a dessert for chocolate lovers only. If I could have this as my birthday cake, I would.
