Hamburger Cabbage Soup
I like cabbage. And hamburger meat.
- 1 Head Cabbage Chopped
- 1 Cup Chopped Celery
- 1 Chopped Onion (White)
- 2 Containers Beef Broth
- 2 Teaspoons Pepper
- 1-1/2 lbs ground beef
- 2 cans tomato sauce (15 oz)
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
Brown meat with 1/2 chopped onion. Drain when browned.
Put beef broth in pot with celery and rest of onion. Boil until tender.
Once tender add all remaining ingredients except cabbage. Bring to boil. Then simmer for 20 minutes.
After simmering add cabbage. Simmer for additional 10 minutes.
Let cool at least 10 minutes before eating.
