Espresso Coffee Shot

The classic espresso is the base to any good coffee.


  1. 20 g Freshly Roasted Coffee Beans
  2. Filtered Water


  1. Run your espresso machine for 10 seconds to fill heating chamber with fresh water.

  2. Using a conical burr coffee grinder, grind 20g of beans.

  3. Add powder to portafilter & press (not too firmly).

  4. Filter 30ml of water through the coffee, this is enough to extract the oil from the coffee. Any more and your coffee will have a bitter taste.

  5. Add sugar to taste.

  6. Flush the espresso machine with water to remove leftover oil.
