Espresso Coffee Shot
The classic espresso is the base to any good coffee.
- 20 g Freshly Roasted Coffee Beans
- Filtered Water
Run your espresso machine for 10 seconds to fill heating chamber with fresh water.
Using a conical burr coffee grinder, grind 20g of beans.
Add powder to portafilter & press (not too firmly).
Filter 30ml of water through the coffee, this is enough to extract the oil from the coffee. Any more and your coffee will have a bitter taste.
Add sugar to taste.
Flush the espresso machine with water to remove leftover oil.
