Black beans(kaale chane)
Use of extra black beans water as soup
Ingredients
- 1 cup black beans
- 2 big onion
- 6 big red tomatoes
- 2 green chili
- Chilli flakes estimated
- 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon turmeric
- 2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon red deggie mirch or red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon chana masala
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon curry leaves crushed
- Pinch hing or ASAFETIDA
- 2 potatoes
Steps
First soak the black beans atleast for 6 hour
Now turn the cooker close and have 6 to 7 whistles
On the other hand in a heavy base pan add oil and roast cumin seeds+ginger+garlic
Now grind the onion and add paste to roasting cumin mixture
Roast onion paste until it looks golden and spread oil all around at low flame
Add tomatoes paste with all the spices together
Now roast this curry masala for atleast 25 minutes
Now check the beans and take out the extra water.water can be use as beans soup.
Add pinch of rock salt and black pepper to the soup.its really healthy
Now add boiled beans to masala and peeled diced potatoes too
Boil the gravy at low flame until it mix with beans properly and potatoes softened slightly
Yummy healthy nutritious black beans gravy is ready
