Beef Rotini (Slow Cooker)
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 24 oz marinara
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup chopped onion, red and green bell peppers, frozen
- 2 tsp garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 3 cup water
- 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cup rotini noodles, uncooked
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
Steps
Break up ground beef and put into pot.
Add marinara sauce, tomatoes, Italian seasoning, frozen vegetables, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, water & olive oil to pot.
Stir until combined.
Close & lock the lid.
Press the steam release valve to open.
Press SLOW COOK—Normal; Timer: 5 hours
Press CANCEL (Keep Warm: On)
Stir in rotini pasta and heavy whipping cream.
Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese
Close & lock the lid.
Press the steam release valve to open.
Press SLOW COOK—Normal; Timer: 1 hour
Press CANCEL (Keep Warm: On)
Stir until well combined.
Serve warm.
