Posting on Reddit, the user “simplyme777” revealed she slimmed down from 20st 6lb to a trimmer 10st 7lb. She credited the transformation to following a keto diet plan and adding in regular exercise.

What did she eat?
The Reddit user explained she is 41-years-old and 5ft 4in tall and that her transformation took one year.

The keto diet plan is a high-fat diet where slimmers will try to drastically limit their carb intake to around 25 grams per day.
This is thought to help the body enter into a state called ketosis, which helps it burn more fat.
Those on the plan can fill up foods such as meats, fish, nuts, avocados, eggs and dairy.
In order to limit carbs, dieters will usually avoid foods like bread, rice, pasta and high-sugar fruit.
When opening up about her transformation, “simplyme777” also revealed she began playing sports to shape up and posted a picture of her in the gym.
Below her before and after photos, other Reddit users were quick to comment on her huge transformation.
One wrote: “I can’t imagine how good it must feel to not have to carry an extra 140 lbs around! And to do this all in a year?! You rock and a great inspiration!”

When slimming down, eating a high protein and low carb plan is another way for slimmers to see results.
Eating foods high in protein has shown to boost the metabolism and make slimmers feel fuller for longer.
If hoping to lose weight fast, a low carb plan can help dieters shed up to 10 pounds in just one week.
Although this is unlikely to be purely fat loss, a low carb plan can reduce bloating and help slimmers shape up.
