As well as revealing details of her transformation, the Reddit user “ArielIRL” said she is 31-years-old and 5ft 4in.
The slimmer went through an impressive weight loss transformation in just over a year and lost 10st 11lb.
“ArielIRL” went from a hefty 21st 10lb to a much slimmer 10st 13lb in 16 months.
In the comment section, many users left messages of encouragement below her weight loss post and asked for tips on how she achieved her weight loss goal.
The dieter revealed she slimmed down by adding running and weights to her regime, as well as following a keto diet.
A keto, or ketogenic, diet requires slimmers to cut down on carbs and eat foods high in fat and protein instead.
The Reddit user said: “I’m most strict with my carbs. I’ve never “cheated” and gone over my carbs. I have had a few high calorie days though.”
Those who follow the keto plan should eat less than 25 grams net carbs a day to help their body enter the state, ketosis, which is thought to promote fat loss.
High-fat and high-protein foods are encouraged, and slimmers often eat foods such as meat, fish, eggs and nuts.
Dieters must also cut down on sugar which means they should watch even when eating fruit.
“ArielIRL” said the diet transformed her life and helped her lose half her body weight.
The keto diet has recently become a popular way for dieters to beat the bulge.
