Stephen Fry weight loss: Comedian used this diet trick to shed nearly 6st in four months
Stephen Fry is a comedian and author who is well known for being half of the double act, Fry and Laurie, with Hugh Laurie. He has also written a number of novels including Mythos, which was also adapted into a stage version. Recently, he has turned heads with his incredible weight loss transformation, dropping five and a half stone in just four months. He slimmed down from a whopping 21 stone by making one simple change to his lifestyle.

Appearing on BBC Breakfast today, Stephen opened up about his weight loss and what he did to beat the bulge.
He told the presenters: “I’ve lost a bit of weight. I’ve lost 5 in a half stone, I was 21st in April. I’ve lost the weight since then.”
When asked how he transformed his life, the actor explained he started walking more to slim down.
He said: “I walk a lot. It means I can listen to audiobooks as I walk and podcasts and eat up the miles that way.”
He also explained eating sensibly helped him on his weight loss journey.
This isn’t the first time Stephen has opened up about his weight, and revealed he lost nearly six stone in 2009.
“I knew something had to be done. I’m 6ft 5in tall, but 21st is too heavy. For the first month, I did without bread, potatoes and sugar, and the weight rolled off,” he told the Daily Mail at the time.
“Since then, I’ve stopped eating other types of food, such as red meat. I’ve continued to lose weight and feel much better for it.”
By cutting out carbs, Stephen managed to shape up and explained he also started hitting the gym.
He said: “I never thought I would say this, but I genuinely enjoy going to the gym. I spent years mocking them, but now I’m one of the converts.”
When trying to shape up, lots of people will follow a diet plan, such as the popular low-carb keto diet.
However, when following this plan slimmers must make sure to watch how many calories they eat to get the best results.
Comedian Joe Pasquale recently appeared on Loose Woman to show off how he shed his belly fat and got six pack abs.
He told the panel he cut out two foods to help him shape up and stopped eating wine gums and chips.
As well as this, Joe upped his exercise routine and started going to the gym six days a week.
