Nicole Scherzinger fitness and diet plan revealed – how does she stay in shape?
Nichole Scherzinger currently stars alongside Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh on X-Factor: Celebrity as the star judges each week. She is known in the industry for her incredible singing, dancing, and acting abilities but another thing she is well known for is her incredible healthy physique.

The former Pussycat Dolls lead singer regularly treats her four million followers on Instagram to images of her working out and showing off her incredible fitness and flexibility. But, how does the superstar stay in shape?
Previously, Nicole revealed that she hasn’t always been content with her body and once opened up about her battle with bulimia, sadly revealing it made her feel “imprisoned”.
“Growing up I really struggled with feeling like I fit in. I even had a hard time feeling like I fit into my own skin,” she told Cosmopolitan.
“I was just really hard on myself, I had a lot of struggles with self-esteem and a lot of insecurities and later on that resulted in my having eating disorders because of my body dysmorphia.
“I was just really hard on myself growing up and I didn’t like myself very much.”
However, now Nicole regularly posts affirmative quotes and body-positive messages to her social media.
Back in August, the Hawaiian-beauty opened up to Daily Mail Australia and revealed that now she isn’t “as strict as you would think” with her diet and is a “firm believer of everything in moderation.”
However, she has previously revealed to Cosmopolitan Magazine that she would wake up in the night to work out, all in an attempt to get smaller thighs.
Nicole revealed that she starts her day off with a hearty meal of protein and carbohydrates for breakfast, followed by a smaller lunch – but she isn’t afraid to indulge.
“For breakfast I love eggs and toast and smoked salmon or bacon, or porridge,” she said.
“For lunch I like maybe some soup or some sushi. For dinner, anything from pasta to rice, and meats and veggies, to sushi.
“When I’m going to indulge, I love pasta, pizza, I love Mexican with lots of cheese.
“I love French fries, or crisps – salt and vinegar crisps. In terms of snacks: almonds, coconut water, bits of coconut, baby carrots.”
As well as keeping track of what Nicole eats, she incorporates exercise into her daily routine to stay healthy and fit.
In an interview with Women’s Health she said: “In a typical workout I would run on the treadmill maybe 20 mins, then try to do some squats, some sit-ups on the exercise ball, some yoga stretches.

“When I’m home I like to take a spinning class called Soul Cycle or I like to do hot yoga – a modified version of Bikram yoga – or hiking, and core power yoga in LA.”
Nicole often experiments with different exercise plans and workouts.
“Mixing everything up gives me the best results. Stretching and hydrating are so important in making progress with your fitness goals too.”
She revealed in an interview that the best health advice she has ever received is to “get lots of sleep”
She said: “Love and accept yourself. Get lots of sleep – sleep really makes such a huge difference.
“Drink lots of water. Don’t deprive yourself of anything because eventually, you’ll crave it and then you might binge on it. Everything in moderation.”
Kate Middleton has also been in the media recently for her incredible fitness regime which helps the Duchess maintain some killer abs.
Kate has shown off her athletic skills and toned abs when taking part in sport at some royal events over the years.
