Meghan Markle’s diet tips as fans say she has ‘lost a lot of weight’

The Duchess of Sussex attended a New York ceremony in a form-fitting dress on Tuesday, prompting fans to comment on her apparent weight loss.

As Meghan Markle accepted the award for ‘Women with Vision’ at last night’s New York Gala, Royal fans immediately noticed she had lost weight since previous appearances.

“Is Meghan losing more and more weight?” wrote one Twitter user, while another pointed out: “This is my favourite look that Meghan has worn. She is back to pre-baby weight, good on her.”

There is little doubt Meghan enjoys a Californian diet since her return to home soils, but Duchess has previously spoken about front-loading calories to keep her weight in check.

Speaking to Hello!, the Duchess explained she tends to get hungrier around midday, so choose to have a heartier lunch and lighter dinner.

Exercise-wise, The mum of two has previously disclosed that she juggles yoga and jogging to maintain her fitness, but chooses to abstain from using the gym.

“I do it all on my own,” she has previously told Shape. “I do my DVDs at home or I go for a run by myself. I think if you can self-motivate, that’s half the battle.”

In another Interview with Women’s Health, Meghan revealed having taken on personal trainer Craig McNamee to prepare for her role in Suits.

“Running has always been my form of moving meditations, which I relish because it allows me to get out of my head,” she said during the interview.

Though the Duchess mainly adheres to a diet of fish and veggies during the weekdays, the former actress does not abstain from certain indulgences.

She has previously admitted to being a big fan of sushi and tries to make it an essential part of her diet.

Angela Lemond, RDN, a nutritionist in private practice has previously spoken about Meghan approach to food, saying: “It’s refreshing to hear a celebrity focusing on what to eat instead of what not to eat.

“We need more celebrities with empowering messages around food and eating.”

Finally, the mother-of-two has also spoken of getting enough downtime to decompress as she juggles the demands of her busy schedule.
