Emily Atack first shot to fame playing the role of Charlotte Hinchcliffe in the E4 comedy series The Inbetweeners. She went on to appear in a whole host of TV shows. That includes the 2018 edition of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! – which saw her make it to the final as a runner-up. As part of the series, campmates survived on a diet of rice and beans for three weeks.

Unsurprisingly, many contestants soon lost weight – with Emily herself losing half a stone.

Having entered the Australian jungle, the comedian addressed the prospect of dramatically slimming while Down Under.

Explaining that her trousers were much looser fitting, she said: “These were tight when I came in here.

“I just want to lose a bit of weight so that when I get home and it’s Christmas I have a bit of room and can put it back on again.

“I love food so much, I love cheese and champagne and salads, fries, yum.”

Emily was also quizzed by OK! Magazine about how much weight she had lost, and said: “Not much, about half a stone.

“I’m feeling good and healthy, though, I’ve had a good detox.”

After her stint in the jungle, Emily revealed that she had decided to make an important change to a big part of her life.

It was regarding the pictures she posted to her official Instagram account, which, at the time of writing, boasts 1.3 million followers.

In the past, the comedian explained that she had been editing images of herself using an app, in order to make her healthy figure look even slimmer.

“I used to use Facetune to get rid of blemishes and slimming apps because I was scared of being called fat, but no more,” she said – going on to reveal she had quite rightly found acceptance of herself.

Emily also took to Instagram to publicly vow never to use a slimming app in the future.

Writing on Instagram, she told fans: “Can’t believe the amount of articles & comments about my bod. Some good, some bad. I will never EVER use a Slimming App ever again.

“We are all different shapes & sizes. We are all unique.”

The actor has previously discussed the shocking body-shaming she has encountered in her career.

According to iNews, she said: “There have been auditions where they’ve said nicely, ‘Would you be willing to go to the gym for this role?’
