Best weight loss: Lose up to four pounds & burn fat with two tablespoons of this drink

Slimmers can select from a long list of plans when it comes to losing weight. From cutting out alcohol like Susanna Reid to calorie counting and the low-carb keto diet – both of which saw one woman recently lose an incredible four stone – there are many ways. Alongside diet and exercise, there are other things which have been proven to aid weight loss. Drinking apple cider vinegar has been found to aid weight loss and burn belly fat.

Best weight loss: Lose up to four pounds and burn belly fat with two tablespoons of this drink – what is it?

Apple cider vinegar has been around for years, and it has been known to help with the killing of pathogens including bacteria and was traditionally used for cleaning, disinfecting, treating nail fungus, lice, warts and ear infections. But of late, it has become popular for its health benefits.

How does it work?

The acid has a lot of health benefits, including lowering blood sugar and decreasing insulin levels, according to healthline.com.

On top of this, it has properties which can help burn fat, suppress the appetite and even stop people from gaining weight at all.

Vinegar has also been shown to reduce blood sugar spikes after meals, which may have various beneficial health effects in the long term.

A study published in the US National Library of Medicine tried apple cider vinegar out on 144 obese people and everyone who drank this lost weight.

Over the course of 12-weeks, those who had one tablespoon of vinegar a day lost an average of 2.6lb and their waist slimmed down by half an inch.

In addition to its appetite-suppressing effect, apple cider vinegar has been shown to slow the rate at which food leaves the stomach.

In another small study, taking apple cider vinegar at the same time as a high-carb meal increased feelings of fullness and made people eat 200–275 fewer calories for the rest of the day.

How much should slimmers drink?

It’s recommended that slimmers consume two table spoons of the drink a day.

A study of 175 obese people asked them to take either one or two teaspoons of the drink each day for a three month period.

By doing this, the dieters all noticed themselves slim down, and those who had one tablespoon a day shifted an average of 2.6 pounds.

Meanwhile slimmers who had two tablespoons a day saw an increased average weight loss of 3.7 pounds, meaning drinking it at least twice a day could speed up results.

Drinking water has also been found to speed up weight loss results. Dr Marilyn Glenville, author of Natural Alternatives to Dieting, recently spoke to Express.co.uk about the importance of drinking enough water.

The leading nutritionist explained that slimmers need to drink enough water in order to burn fat properly.

She said: “Drinking water is essential to weight loss, because fat burning increases levels of toxins in your system. These will then need to be flushed out by your liver and kidneys. If you don’t drink enough water, your body will burn fat less efficiently.”
