Victoria Beckham, 47, is known for her strict diet which has kept her body looking toned for decades. But it has been recently revealed what the former Spice Girls’ comfort food is. While most people might opt for a hearty meal, Victoria likes a single slice of wholegrain toast sprinkled with salt.
“This is where I sound even more boring in the food department,” Victoria said.
“I like whole grain toast with salt on it.
“It’s that carbohydrate that makes you feel comforted and I love salt,” she added.
It is not known whether she has butter on the toast, or eats it dry with just salt.
Victoria also said she often eats only vegetables, even when she goes out for dinner.
“To most restaurants I’m probably their worst nightmare,” she explained.
“I love some steamed vegetables, some balsamic vinegar and then to season myself.
“I like things to be cooked in a very simple way.
“I don’t like oils or butters or sauces,” the fashion designer told The Sun.
Victoria described herself as a “disciplined” eater.
During a conversation with River Cafe’s Table 4 podcast, she explained: “Even Gordon Ramsay, a very good friend of ours, says he’s never seen anybody as disciplined about the way that they eat.
“I’m not the most exciting eater but I do like to have a drink with my dinner and I can become a very good dinner guest.”

When it comes to her diet, refined carbs have been off the menu for decades.
An unnamed source previously told Heat magazine she only plans to lift the ban for a slice of cake on her 50th birthday.
“When she says she hasn’t been near a carb – by which she means a refined one – in ages, she’s not joking,” the insider said.
“It’s a practically banned word for her.”
As for what exercise Victoria does, she previously revealed her routine begins between 5.30am and 6am with a seven kilometre run on a treadmill.
It consists of a “a mix of uphill fast walking, jogging, running. That’s the only time I watch TV – boxsets, documentaries – so I look forward to that. It takes 45 minutes”.
This is followed by a private personal training session in her gym which focuses on legs and arms – each 30 minutes long, “toning and conditioning then loads of planks and that kind of thing for my core” she told The Guardian’s Weekend magazine.
