The Proceeds From These New Dunkin' Dog Toys Go to a Good Cause
Though America may run on Dunkin’, dogs decidedly do not. In fact, if your pup got their paws on some chocolate glazed munchkins, that would probably involve an impromptu trip to the vet.
But now, thanks to a partnership with the people behind BarkBox meant to support the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, your dog can finally enjoy their very own Dunkin’ treats without accidentally poisoning themselves. For a limited time, Dunkin’ fans who donate $12 to the cause at a participating location can buy a (squeaky, stuffed) coffee for their four-legged pal. For $15, you can bring home a box of plush munchkins, the perfect toy for making it feel like you and your canine buddy are sharing breakfast together.
Though the idea of selling Dunkin’-themed dog toys for charity might seem unexpected, there’s more of a natural connection than you’d think. The Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation has been sending service dogs to children’s hospitals since 2018, helping them cope with anxiety and brightening up a bad situation.

Naturally, the hope is that a fundraising effort that appeals to pet owners can help create even more opportunities for kids battling serious illnesses to connect with a furry friend.
"Through our Dogs for Joy program, amazing service dogs like Cooper Dunkin', have the opportunity to spread joy to children who are battling illness," Executive Director of the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation Kari McHugh said in a press release. "These lovable toys will make dogs almost as happy as they make us, while also helping support Foundation programming to bring joy to children facing hunger and illness."
Anyone with a dog knows they can tear through toys pretty quickly, and you can never really have too many on hand. So if you can buy some tasty-looking toys that support a good cause, why the heck not. Though they may not ever say it outright, your dog (and Dunkin’) will definitely thank you.
