  • 2 tablespoonscanola oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoondried thyme
  • 1 teaspoondried basil
  • 500 gtuna in water
  • 2 cupswater
  • 1 cupfrozen peas
  • 1 cupfrozen mixed vegetables (carrot, peas, corn)
  • 1 teaspoonchicken stock powder
  • 3 tablespoonscanola oil
  • 3 tablespoonsflour
  • 1 cupmilk
  • 2 tablespoonswhite wine vinegar
  • Directions

  • Saute onion, herbs in oil for about 30 mins if possible.
  • Add tuna, water, frozen peas and mixed veges, and chicken stock powder.
  • Make white sauce in a separate saucepan.
  • Stir white sauce into soup.
  • Add white vinegar.
  • Check seasonings.
  • Serve with parsley to garnish.
