Bank holiday supermarket deals

Aldi

Aldi is selling its Castellore Prosecco Spumante in store and online for £5.99.

Its Castellore Prosecco Frizzante is £5.49 a bottle.

Currently the store’s Prosecco Superiore is £7.99, and has been sold for £11.70 in the past – making this a great deal.

The Veluve Monsigny Champagne Brut is £12.49 a bottle.

Additionally, Aldi is offering free delivery on wine by the case.

Normally delivery is £3, but this is an introductory deal.

The deal includes the Prosecco DOC, £29.94 for six bottles, which are £4.99 each.

It also includes the Rockstone Ridge Californian Merlot, £26.94 for six bottles, which are £4.49 each.

Sainsbury’s

In store and online customers can get a bottle of Etienne Dumont Brut Champagne for £14, down from £16.

Sainsbury’s Prosecco Frizzante is £6 a bottle.

Tesco

Tesco is offering the £6 Bella Cucina Prosecco Fizzante Semi in stores and online.

Waitrose

Waitrose is offering NV Glera Italian Prosecco at £7.89 a bottle in store and online.

Asda

Asda is selling its Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry for £6 a bottle in store and online.

In other supermarket news, Morrisons has released a new food box.

The supermarket claims the 11kg box will feature a collection of fruit and veg favourites.

Each box contains 135 portions of fruit & veg – meaning a family can easily eat their 5-a-day during the course of a week.

The £22 includes next-day delivery to your doorstep – meaning that those people who are vulnerable, elderly or self-isolating do not need to leave their home.
